Not just an acrylic template! It comes with a cut-to-size piece of Cover Up 5mm smaller than your template, so no more wrapping in freezer film or cling wrap or baking paper!

Just add a small amount of your filling to the lid to attach the Cover Up and smooth it flat. Then cover with your buttercream or ganache and apply it to your cake.

Let it set (may require refrigeration!) and pop the template off, peel back the Cover Up and wash it up for use over and over again!

  • How to wash it?

    Wash your Cover Up and your acrylic templates in warm soapy water and air dry or dry by hand.

  • Do I need to refrigerate my cake?

    If you are using a buttercream to add your lid, then yes. I would say chill the cake until firm before popping the lid off. Acrylic lid and Cover Up will be more easily removed with a chilled cake. 

    Generally there s rule that you don't need to chill a ganached cake but use your best judgement on whether your ganache is properly set, particularly in hot and humid weather.
