  2. work on products with very high fat and oil content like dark chocolate, white chocolate, compound chocolate, candy melts, high-ratio buttercream icing, and cake drip.
  3. are more concentrated than other brands of oil-based candy colouring so you use less to get more vibrant colours!
  4. come in 2 oz., twist cap with dropper nozzle for a consistent and precise measurement every time.
  5. are shelf-stable with a two-year shelf life after opening.
  6. blend easily with base product
  7. are intense, fade-resistant, flavourless colours
  8. achieve the exact shade you want without watering down your product
  9. are cost-effective
  10. are available in Australia at Edible Image Supplies.

TIP: Always test custom colour mixes in a small batch first as colour results may vary.

Some handy pointers:

  • For light & pastel shades use Bright White candy melts or white chocolate + drop of White Chocolate Chameleon
  • For dark & bright shades use White candy melts or white chocolate
  • For pure black use milk/dark chocolate or brown candy melts
  • For pure snow-white use white chocolate or Bright White/White candy melts and add some White Chocolate Chameleon to brighten and remove any yellow tint

TIP: Add Chocolate Chameleon to melted chocolate or candy melts - start with less than you think you need as it is easier to add more colour than to lighten up a very dark shade!

How to use the Chocolate Chameleon Colour Mixing Guide:

Simply add to your base product (melted chocolate, buttercream etc.) the listed Chocolate Chameleon colours by drops that are approximately the same size.

For example, to make Peony:

  1. Add 1 drop Pink, 1 drop Yellow, and 2 drops Red - mix very well. If your goal is a very deep shade, you can double this to start: 2 drops Pink, 2 drops Yellow, 4 drops Red.
  2. To go darker, repeat with another 1 drop Pink, 1 drop Yellow, and 2 drops Red - mix very well.
  3. White Chocolate Chameleon can be added to lighten the mixed colour if too dark.
  4. Note: If using in chocolate/melts, once the chocolate has been put in a mould and set up, the final colour result will be a little bit darker than when the coloured chocolate is in melted form.

Chocolate Chameleon Core Colours: Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Teal, Violet, White, and Black.
